Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of Pontabi (“the App”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service

The App helps users save travel places from social posts, URLs, images, and notes; organize them on maps and lists; check routes; and automatically create itineraries from saved places.

2. Accounts and data

Some features may be used as a guest. You must provide accurate account information and keep your account secure. Unsynced data may be lost after a device change, app deletion, or service interruption.

3. Free use, ads, and subscriptions

• The App offers Free and Premium plans. Current features, limits, and prices are shown on the purchase screen.
• The Free plan may display ads when the App opens or returns to the foreground and after a trip is saved. Ads do not grant additional usage allowance.
• Subscriptions are charged to your Apple ID and renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings. Refunds follow Apple's policies.
• You can restore purchases. Plans and prices may change as permitted by applicable law.

4. Third-party content and intellectual property

You must have the rights needed to submit or save URLs, images, notes, and other content. Instagram, TikTok, and other third-party content and services remain subject to their own terms. We do not provide or guarantee those services.

5. Prohibited conduct

• Violating laws, public order, or third-party rights
• Unauthorized access, excessive or automated access, reverse engineering, modification, or service disruption
• Submitting false information or misusing accounts or purchase rights
• Unauthorized commercial use or redistribution of the App or third-party content
• Other conduct we reasonably determine to be harmful or inappropriate

6. Travel information disclaimer

Places, opening hours, prices, routes, travel times, crowd conditions, and automatically created itineraries are provided for reference only. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Check official sources and make travel and safety decisions yourself.

7. Changes and availability

We may change or suspend all or part of the App for maintenance, failures, emergencies, provider changes, or other reasonable needs. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes when appropriate.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from use or inability to use the App, except where caused by our willful misconduct or gross negligence. Mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when necessary. Updated Terms apply after publication on this page or notice in the App.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance.
